Review: Botanics Night Shift Moisture Cream

'Overnight the body's natural renewal cycle means skin can absorb richer moisturisation. Botanics Night Shift Moisture Cream is an intensive 24hr cream that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines while restoring and nourishing skin.'

I've been using this every night since I first bought it (almost a month now). I bought it simply because I was in Boots and fancied trying a new moisturiser, I liked the Botanics range and at £5.10, it was very inexpensive. I wasn't expecting much from it.

The cream comes in a 50ml tub with a silver screw top lid. My skin had been quite dry so I was really looking forward to trying this. When I first tried the cream, the first thing I noticed was the odd consistency. It's quite thick and 'gloopy' and when initially applied to the skin, it does feel quite heavy and a tad greasy. However when I woke up in the morning my skin felt so soft and moisturised. I've been using this every night before bed, and I have to say, I'm so impressed with it! This has really made a difference, and my skin now feels noticeably softer and smoother. I will definitley continue to use this and repurchase this in the future!

Follow me on twitter :)

Just wanted to let you all know I set up a twitter account :)

Favourite foundation combo of the moment

MAC Face and Body and Bare Minerals foundation

I love setting my MAC Face and Body with my Bare Minerals foundation for a bit more coverage, as on it's own the Face and Body is a little sheer for my liking. The two together, make my skin look fresh and glowy and my makeup lasts all day.

I apply the MAC Face and Body, using my fingers and then buff the Bare Minerals over the top, to set the foundation, using the Bare Minerals Full Flawless face brush.

I found it!

Yes, I finally managed to get my hands on the much-talked-about GOSH Darling lipstick.

After searching in Superdrug, every time I went shopping, for the past few months, I finally managed to pick one up. Whenever I've looked in the past it had always been sold out or there were a few which had been opened and used. So I was pleasantly suprised to find one, new and sealed, at the GOSH counter, over the weekend.

And of course, I love it! It's a perfect nude and really smooth in consistensey. I've been wearing it non-stop since I bought it and I can see myself repurchasing this again and again!
